Experience a Japanese year-end custom at the JCCH! 🎍

#Mochitsuki #餅つき (mochi-pounding) is the traditional method of making mochi in preparation for the New Year. Mochi represents strength, longevity, and purity. 

We are partnering with our friends at @konkowahiawa to host our annual Mochitsuki Workshop. Registered participants will receive a hands-on mochi pounding lesson and get to shape #komochi (plain) and mochi with #azuki (red bean paste) that they can take home! 💪😋

⚠️ Advance registration is REQUIRED for hands-on participation. Viewing of the demonstration will be open to the public.
